CRIMSON SENTRY MAPLE is well suited for our climate and city size yards. (It was developed nearby in Hubbard, Oregon in 1972.) Summer foliage is deep purple/burgundy/dark crimson. Fall foliage turns more intense deep red and bronze colors. Crimson Sentry is excellent to border a path or planting strip as it grows less than 25 feet tall and stays quite narrow. Acer platanoides ‘Crimson Sentry’ USDA Zones 4-9 (2 sizes available)
WEEPING RED LACELEAF JAPANESE MAPLE - A centerpiece of any patio, deck, or entry, its lacy deep burgundy leaves turn glorious shades of red in fall. Red Laceleaf matures 6-8 feet tall and wide in the ground, less in a container or as bonsai. It grows well in full sun or part shade, is deer resistant & drought tolerant when established. BLOODGOOD JAPANESE MAPLE may be planted closer to structures than other maples because its root system is compact and considered non-invasive. It is small and graceful, ideal for small yards. Leaf color varies depending on the amount of sunlight: deep burgundy in summer, bright crimson in fall. The tree matures about 10-15 feet tall in the ground, less in a container.
