OCTOBER GLORY’S DEEP GREEN LEAVES turn a brilliant fire-red with hints of orange in fall; they keep their color for a longer season than other maples, often until Thanksgiving! The best foliage coloration occurs when planted in full sun but this variety also does well in part shade. October Glory maintains a lovely, symmetrical oval to round shape, growing about 1-1½ feet a year - to 25 or 30 feet tall in our area. Acer rubrum ‘October Glory’ USDA Zones 4-9
