I am scared about losing my health care. I am a 66y.o. retiree and a homeless person at this time. I rented a mailbox and changed the mailing address on my health insurance website. I receieved a notice from them that the USPS notified them that the address is not a home, but a mailbox rental location. So, my healthcare provider sent a notice that I need to show a home address before September 9th, or my insurance will be cancelled! I am feeling desperate for a solution, expecially since I had a recent knee injury and have to have physical therapy. I only receive Social Security benefits, so my income is limited and I can't pay out of pocket for medical care.
I am hoping that I can find someone in the area of Daly City, or nearby, that would let me pay them to allow my health insurance to be mailed to their address. This probably be for just 30 days, as I think they will send me just one letter for me to pick up and return to them. I will still keep the regular mail going to my rented mailbox. They just need to have proof that I received a letter from an actual home instead of a business.
I truly would be deeply grateful if someone could be helpful to me. I would also be happy to pay someone $50.00 for doing this for me. If you have any questions for me, please feel free to ask.
(I need to add this sentence to update this post. It is unbelievable how many people have attempted to scam me here. No end to how many people willing to even cheat a homeless individual. Sad. Anyhow, because they always start with, "send me money on Zelle, Venmo, Paypal", etc. Then, have a fake address and phone number with area code in New Jersey or wherever. To filter scammers out and find legit help, I will pay you in person for helping me.)
