Beautiful antique solid wood dining table and chair set that has been in my home/family for almost 100 years.
This is a very well-built, heavy table with a beautiful ornate base, turned legs and carved wood details. It includes 4 regular dining chairs and 1 captain’s chair, all with matching decorative wood backs and upholstered seats.
The table is approximately 5 feet long without the leaves and includes five 6-inch leaves, allowing it to extend to approximately 7½ feet long for larger gatherings.
The table is structurally solid and has a lot of character. The top does show its age with wear, water marks and damage to the original finish, as shown in the photos. It could be refinished and made beautiful again, or enjoyed just as it is for someone who appreciates the character and patina of an old piece.
A beautiful old dining set with nearly a century of history. I’m continuing to downsize and would love to see it go to someone who appreciates older, well-made furniture.
Asking $350 — reasonable offers considered.
