The Training and Development Instructor trains and supports Job Coaches and Floaters in providing effective instruction to program participants in a warehouse setting. This position helps staff use appropriate teaching strategies and individualized approaches to support consumer goals and skill development.
Reports to: Executive Director
Responsibilities
Train and support Job Coaches and Floaters in providing hands-on instruction.
Help staff adapt teaching methods to meet individual consumer needs.
Develop and update vocational training curriculum and instructional materials.
Create simple procedures and guidelines for program instruction.
Review staff training methods and provide constructive feedback.
Support staff in implementing individualized strategies to help consumers reach their goals.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Experience planning and providing lessons or instruction.
Knowledge of effective teaching techniques.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Teaching credential is preferred.
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
