As a Building Maintenance Instructor for Adults with Disabilities you will responsible for educating individuals, provide assistance, guidance, and advocacy to help them overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals in the building maintenance field.
Essential Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Conduct self-building inspections on a daily basis.
Reviews the building repairs spreadsheet.
Provide hands-on instruction in a variety of maintenance skills.
Instructing on safety procedures and best practices.
Inventory of all tools and supplies on spreadsheet.
Demonstrating proper use of tools and equipment.
Responsible for monthly worksite training data.
Works independently and as a team.
Education/Experience
General Knowledge on all facets of building and maintenance.
Ability to use and care for building tools and equipment.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Vocational training.
HVAC Technician Certifications is a PLUS.
Requirements
Excellent Communication, grammar and Interpersonal Skills.
Must be have a Valid California Driver License
Must be over 21 years old and able to get CPR and First Aid Certificate.
Must be able to pass Criminal background and Drug screen in accordance with California Law.
Typical work activities involve frequent grasping of tools and objects, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling/reaching below and above shoulder level.
Hours: 8am-3:30 pm M-F.
