I bought them new and barely used them, they sound good but I was experimenting with some different builds and went with something more vintage for the final product.

These are tonally similar to the original EMG-P but with more headroom resulting in less compression, more touch sensitivity, and a little more organic sounding but still in the classic active EMG-P camp.
