This antique pine step-back cupboard pairs hand-turned wooden door knobs and a wooden turn-latch with metal drawer pulls below — a nice mix of old-world woodwork and hardware. Two deep cabinets up top, a pair of drawers, and an open pot-board shelf give it real everyday function alongside all that character
Wonderful early antique two-piece step-back cupboard with square nail construction throughout — a strong indicator of pre-1890s handmade origin. Warm honey-toned pine with beautiful natural graining and a rich, deep patina from age.
Upper cabinet: Two paneled doors with original hand-turned wood knobs and a charming wooden thumb-turnlatch. Interior has two fixed shelves for storage/display. shelves are 10" deep.
Lower base: Open step-back surface, two-drawer front with cast metal pulls, and open shelving below — great for stoneware, baskets, or display pieces. Shelves are 13" deep.
L: 45.5"x H: 75"x /W: 16".
Construction & age indicators:
• Square nails visible throughout construction
• Solid wood paneled doors, hand-fitted joinery
• Natural wear, tool marks, and patina consistent with age
