2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 (WJ) – 4.7L V8
“Granch” (Short for Grand Cherokee)
Please don’t lowball—she’s been an excellent vehicle.
Granch has been part of our family for just over 10 years, and to say she’s been fun would be an understatement. She’s taken us on countless adventures and has never failed to put a smile on our faces.
After waiting nearly a decade, I finally got the chance to drive her myself. She became my first car, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better one. Selling her isn’t an easy decision.
The only reason she’s for sale is because, while she still runs and drives great, she’s reached the point where she deserves an owner who can continue giving her the time, love, and money she needs. Right now my focus is saving for college and finding a more economical daily driver.
⸻
Badges of Honor
This Jeep wasn’t built to sit in a parking lot.
Earned the Turkey Creek Trail Badge of Honor.
Conquered countless Arizona trails and off-road adventures.
Dominated the San Tan Sand Drags and the San Tan Mud Pit.
Even surprised a couple of rails out by the New River windmills.
During the January 2017 Flagstaff storm (around 4 feet of snow), she drove out without any issues.
She’s earned every scratch and every mile honestly.

What I’d Do Next (If I Were Keeping It)
Like any 25-year-old Jeep, it isn’t perfect.
The next items I’d address would be:
Front suspension refresh (ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.)
Rear windows need attention
Rear driver’s-side exterior door handle only opens from the inside
None of these have prevented me from enjoying or driving the Jeep, but I want to be completely upfront so the next owner knows exactly what they’re getting.

Flat tow bar included.

Granch has been an incredible first vehicle and has given our family over a decade of memories. I’m hoping she goes to someone who appreciates these WJs as much as we have and will continue making memories with her.
