Hello, My name is Joel Schueler. I am a journeyman carpenter with 20 years of experience working on projects large and small (and everything in between). I am looking to continue my career in the construction industry. I am capable of building houses frame to finish, with some concrete experience. I've managed projects in both the tract house and custom home worlds. I have overseen remodels ranging from 50k to 850k, small bathroom and kitchen remodels to complete gut or tear down and rebuilds. Most recently, I oversaw the framing and siding on multiple 100 plus single family home developments. I have done the work while managing it, and I have just done the management of said work. I am capable of laying out and cutting stairs, conventionally framed roofs, and all the other fun and challenging aspects of framing houses. I take calling myself a carpenter seriously, and don't throw that title around lightly.
I am a California native, but the Denver area has been my home for the last 8 years. At the end of 2025, I had to resign from my last job in order to recover from multiple foot surgeries addressing a non-work-related injury. Thankfully, I have recovered. I am eager to get back to work and can't wait to continue my career.
