I am a 68-year-old female who has been in the maintenance construction trade for over 40 years. I’ve been a carpenter apprentice, an apartment manager/maintenance tech, building and facility maintenance instructor, and a city code enforcement inspector.
I've taught teens almost everything maintenance related. I can inspect properties for preventive maintenance or homes recently built with a punch list. I am also able to make those small repairs. Repairs such as sheetrock, minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, cabinetry,
door & locks/strike plate. I think I have a keen eye for repairs and what the gentleman or lady of the house may want. I have also cleaned up yards, installed
astroturf and built forms for concrete patio slabs.
I am seeking employment part-time, and I will work full time if needed. I can pass a background check. I needed it when I worked for the school and the City
The trades have been a part of my life for so long that I can’t stop. Teaching, inspecting, and/or new home detail prep allows me to still be a part of that world. If you’re looking for a hard worker, I’m your person. I have passion for what I do, I love seeing a diamond in the rough become that shining gemstone.
If you think my skills are something you’re seeking, please respond.
Please note, I don't want jobs that are 1099. Those are a firm no.
