I personally bought these wrenches new from my Snap-on dealer back in the day.
Set goes from 3/8" to 1-1/8", all of the 13 original wrenches in the set are the ones I bought as the set. Never lost one, broken one, or replaced one. There is also a spare 7/16' included that was not part of the original set (see manifest)
All work properly at both ends. Nothing sprung, stripped out, or damaged.
No grinding, welding, or other modifications. I never engraved my name or initials into any of them.
These have seen 40+ years in an industrial environment and show honest wear from use. Some wrenches show glints of the copper base layer where years of handling have worn the chrome.
The red vinyl-coated tool roll is the same one that came with the set when I bought it. It has a few small holes here and there, including wear-through at the bottoms of some pockets where the box ends of the wrenches sit, but it's still whole and in surprisingly good condition. All I've done is wash off the accumulated dirt and grease.
Quite honestly, I didn't even know I had an extra 7/16″ wrench until I took inventory. I have no idea where or when that came from, so I'm not making any claims about its history other than the date code.
I brought my toolbox home and thinning things out, the manifest details the individual wrenches and their markings.

1. OEX28 (7/8"): Factory error, a very faint size strike on the open end from the original die pressing.
2. OEX26 (13/16"): "naked" transitional variant assumed from 1966-1979 production window that contains the Flank Drive patent number but carries no date code symbol.
