Henley’s Custom Cabinets is looking for an experienced cabinet maker to build high-end custom
cabinetry. Our shop uses traditional cabinet-making machinery rather than CNC
equipment. We’re looking for someone with solid cabinet-building experience who can read
shop drawings, work independently, and take a project from fabrication through final assembly.
What you’ll do:
-Build and assemble high-end custom frameless and inset cabinetry from shop drawings.
-Fabricate cabinet boxes, panels, fillers, and other custom components.
-Plan and execute layouts and construction details specific to each project.
-Work with hardwoods, veneers, and sheet goods, including grain matching.
-Produce precise joinery, properly fit and adjust doors, drawer fronts, panels, and
hardware with consistent reveals.
Resolve construction and fit issues independently while maintaining quality standards.
What we’re looking for:
Previous professional cabinet-making experience is required. Must understand cabinet
construction and be able to step into an active custom cabinet shop with minimal training.
Hands-on cabinet fabrication experience using traditional cabinet-shop machinery is required.
Experience building frameless and inset cabinetry from shop drawings is required.
Proficient with the precision, tolerances, and fitting required for high-quality inset cabinetry.
Additional experience with cabinet installation and/or hand staining is a strong plus.
You should be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently, comfortable
communicating with the rest of the shop, and take pride in producing quality work.
