I am a registered dental assistant within the state of California, I have experience in pediatric, orthodontic, general and lab work. I have worked in approximately 10 different locations, both private and corporate chains. I have assisted with crowns, root canals, braces (removal, adjustments, placing brackets, etc) prophy cleanings, charting, XRAYS, taken alginate impressions and poured them, and more. Any students going into the dental field or any DAs that would like to ask questions about my experiences, I will be happy to reply. I will also discuss the RDA exam in broad terms, but will not divulge specifics as California law prohibits this.
