Selling a Maytag washing machine. The machine turns on, sounds normal, and the lid clicks/locks, but the lock icon light flashes on the control panel and it won’t allow water to flow or start the cycle.

The Issue: Likely just needs a new lid lock assembly/door switch (a very common and relatively inexpensive DIY fix for Maytag/Whirlpool washers, or an easy part-out).
