Job Description
As a Houseman / Laundry Attendant/General Cleaning, you will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas and handling hotel laundry to ensure a smooth daily operation.
What you will be doing
• Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas such as hallways, lobby, stairways, and other common spaces
• Delivering linens, towels, and supplies to Housekeeping staff as needed
• Collecting used linens and trash from housekeeping carts and designated areas
• Operating laundry machines to wash, dry, fold, and organise hotel linens and towels
• Restocking linen rooms and keeping supplies organised
• Assisting Room Attendants with heavy tasks when needed
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues to the Manager immediately
• Keeping work areas, laundry room, and storage areas clean and organised
Job Requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to perform frequent physical activities including bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift and move moderate to heavy loads （more than 50lbs) such as linen bags and supply carts
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks on time
• Basic ability to comprehend English sufficient to understand instructions and communicate with coworkers
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and holidays
