Licensed contractor wanted – small industrial build-out in Compton (demo, paint, glass wall, carpet, concrete grind/polish, camera/locks install)
LightsOut CNC is a new precision machine shop moving into a small industrial unit in Compton (near the 91 / Central Ave). We’re looking for a licensed general contractor (CA “B” license), ideally a small owner-operated outfit, to bid on our build-out.
Scope (approximate):
Demo: about 1,500 sq ft of interior demo (existing build-out and finishes). Haul-away included.
Paint/Finish: about 3,600 sq ft of walls and ceiling in the shop and office (1000 feet of walls will need level 4 finish)
New wall with glass: one interior wall about 20 ft long with glass window inserts (enclosing main shop floor).
Carpet: Office grade carpeting across aprox. 1000 feet across 5 small offices
Concrete: remove the existing floor covering, then grind, repair and finish (sealed or polished) the shop slab
Install: 5 interior and 2 exterior cameras and front and rear digital door locks
What we need from you:
An active CSLB license (please include the number)
Photos of similar commercial or industrial work
A walk-through, then a written quote broken out by item (demo, paint, glass wall, concrete)
Your available start date and how long the job will take
Timing: Available to do a walk through of the space immediately, all work will need to be completed within 3 weeks
