Hi everyone! I am looking for full or part time work, ideally hybrid or remote but open to any types of positions!
About Me:
Dedicated foster youth advocate and community leader with 15 years of experience advocating for current and former foster youth and working to improve systems of support. Currently serving as a Los Angeles Youth Commissioner and actively involved with the Los Angeles chapter of the National Foster Youth Institute, bringing extensive lived experience, peer advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement expertise.
Experienced in peer support, resource navigation, case management responsibilities, client communication, and trauma-informed advocacy. Skilled at building trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds, connecting people with appropriate resources, documenting information, and helping individuals navigate complex systems. Comfortable using basic Google Workspace and Microsoft Office programs and adapting quickly to new technology and workplace systems.
In addition to advocacy and human-services experience, I bring 12 years of customer service experience across retail and food service environments, as well as experience working as a stage manager for a small film studio. This diverse background has strengthened my communication, organization, problem-solving, teamwork, and ability to remain professional and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
I am passionate about using both professional skills and lived experience to create meaningful change, strengthen communities, and ensure that young people and underserved populations have access to the support and resources they deserve.
