This is the affordable Technics turntable you have been waiting for!!! 100% works and I'm willing to demo it when you come to pick it up. If you watch the video you will see the auto return works with zero issue and on the second half of the video you can see the motor is ROCK SOLID holding speed perfectly. Many of these older machines have drifted out of spec and then need to be serviced, this one is showing that the prior owner took very good care of their things. I can only assume there is very low usage of this deck, between it being in perfect spec AND looking this good i think im on target. This direct drive turntable from Technics is what legends are made of, a cousin of the most highly sought after SL-1200 DJ style turntable but this is more home use friendly with the removable dust cover and the automatic return. What more can you ask for? This model was introduced in 1978 - quite possibly the height of the Golden Age of home stereos so you know the quality of the build is there. It's a 48 year old machine and works just like the day it was taken out of the box.
