Elite Excavating Company of Ohio, Inc. is seeking skilled, dependable heavy equipment operators with underground utility construction experience in the Columbus, Ohio, area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a member of good standing in the Operating Engineers Union
• At least five years of experience operating heavy equipment for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and waterline construction
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong commitment to safety and situational awareness
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate equipment safely around workers and utilities on active job sites
• Perform routine daily equipment inspections and maintenance
• Follow and support the company safety program, with particular emphasis on trench and job-site safety
• Work collaboratively with foremen, laborers, and other operators to complete assigned tasks
• Travel to project sites throughout the Columbus area as needed
• Work outdoors year-round in a variety of weather conditions
