Yes, it's an older model at this point, but don't let that fool you. This is still a very capable, great-sounding pre/pro, and this particular unit is in excellent condition. It's a great way to build or upgrade a separates-based system without spending a fortune.
The DHC-60.5 gives you the flexibility to pair your processing section with the power amplifier(s) of your choice, allowing you to build a system around the components and sound you want rather than being locked into the amplification inside an AVR.
