About the Role:
Are you great with your hands, love tech, and want to kickstart a career in IT? We are hiring an entry-level Data Center Technician to join our onsite team in Columbus!
No prior data center experience is required. If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to learn about computer hardware, we will train you on the rest!
Who We Are Looking For:
• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Technical/IT Diploma.
• Experience: None required! Freshers and hands-on learners are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: A basic interest in computer parts, a strong eye for detail, and a reliable work ethic.
What You Will Do:
• Hardware Handling: Work closely with high-tech computer parts like CPUs, GPUs, memory (DDR), and networking cards.
• Testing: Help set up test environments and run simple hardware tests following clear, step-by-step guides.
• Inventory & Shipping: Keep track of equipment, update inventory logs, and help package or unpack tech shipments.
• Tracking: Write down basic test results and keep clean documentation.
