I’m putting this out there with a lot of hope and a little bit of vulnerability. For as long as I can remember, my absolute biggest dream has been to get out on the water in my own fishing boat. There is a peace and freedom out there that I can't find anywhere else, and lately, I’ve wanted it more than ever.
Life has thrown some curveballs my way. I deal with a medical condition that unfortunately limits a lot of what I can do physically in my day-to-day life. It takes away a lot of options, but fishing is the one thing that keeps me grounded, brings me pure joy, and lets me feel like myself. Having a boat would completely change my world and give me a way to get out there safely and enjoy life despite my health struggles.
I’m praying there might be a generous soul out there who can help make this dream a reality. If you have an old bass boat, center console, or any fishing boat just sitting in your yard, driveway, or barn gathering dust—something you no longer use, want, or need—I would be profoundly grateful if you’d consider gifting it or selling it to me for under $1,000.
It doesn’t need to be perfect or fancy at all. Even if it’s a project boat that needs some love and tinkering, I will happily take it and cherish it.
