Looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join a large utility-scale solar construction project. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on construction experience working in the fast-growing renewable energy industry.
Employment Details:
- Position: General Laborer
- Pay: $20/hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime available as needed)
- Project Length: Currently expected to run through Spring, with potential for longer-term and travel opportunities based on performance.
- Jobsite Location: Cleburne, TX 76033 (Applicants must be local to the Cleburne area. No per diem or relocation assistance is available.)
- Start dates: ASAP
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting with installation of solar racking systems and solar panels
- Loading, unloading, moving, and staging construction materials
- Using hand and power tools
- Supporting general construction and site cleanup activities
- Assisting with trenching, backfilling, and material handling
- Following supervisor instructions and working safely on an active job site
- Meeting daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of construction, general labor, landscaping, farming, roofing, or other outdoor work experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be local to the Cleburne, TX area
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
