This position is with a well-established manufacturing company operating in a chemical production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift experience and a commitment to workplace safety.
Position Responsibilities:
• Evacuate, inspect, re-valve, fill, and paint chlorine cylinders and ton containers
• Safely unload tank cars and load and unload trucks
• Load, move, and stage industrial tanks weighing up to 75 lbs
• Operate a propane forklift daily to transport materials and finished products
• Perform general production and warehouse clean-up duties (sweeping, painting tanks, organizing materials)
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and required PPE procedures
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and exposure to industrial conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices
• Ability to read and understand safety and training materials
• Basic plumbing and PVC knowledge preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently
• Reliable attendance and stable work history
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
