I am seeking a room within a ~30 minute drive from the west side of Olympia. Looking for November 1st move-in. I would prefer furnished, but if it is a great fit I do not mind furnishing it myself.
About me: I am a full-time state employee new to WA, single male with no pets. I have ~15 years of experience in shared housing arrangements, so I know how to contribute to a peaceful, clean and drama-free household. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing guitar. I have stellar references/rental history and excellent credit.
Requirements:
-courteous housemates who generally keep a schedule of quiet hours after 11pm-ish weeknights and value a clean and clutter-free household
-full kitchen access. While I do not cook every night, I don't have interest in renting a room with a a mini fridge & microwave/hot plate, etc. and the expectation that this should meet a tenant's needs
-To that end, it is important to me to find an atmosphere where tenants are not made to feel like transients who are expected to not leave their rooms when home. I don't necessarily need to be friends with housemates, but a sense of community, mutual respect, and most importantly, common courtesy goes a long way, in my experience.
-While I love animals, I cannot live in a household with dogs that bark excessively
