For the first 12 years I was OTR, from a few months of lower 48 to our western region, the 7 western, 2 and 3 state short haul, and 5 years I-5, Blaine to San Ysidro.
For 10 years now I've been local; dry, refrigerated/frozen, container drayage, heavy haul (to 9 axle) some flatbed...
Import/export, grocery, corrugate, frozen foods, lumber, steel, lytes, extrusion, hardware, aerospace, furniture, retail..maybe a couple others I missed..no tanker, no HazMat.
My TWIC has let me visit ports of Seattle and Tacoma, Portland and Longview, Hueneme and SanDiego. I have no endorsements or restrictions, and my records are clean. As an added perk, I don't need any benefits because I am completely covered by other programs.
I don't smoke, I stay organized, I like a clean truck that's well cared for, and a steady, timely, legal dispatch on a reasonable wage, commensurate. My two adopted pets don't travel well, so I'm looking for something that will have me home nightly.
I'd like to enjoy the few years I have left before my retirement, and I'd like to give you about 50 hours a week. My familiarity with the area and skillset involving office politics will be an asset for you should you need support there as well...so, should you have a day spot for me, I'd like to hear from you.
