"The Softride Windshear is a vintage triathlon and time-trial bicycle frame featuring Softride’s iconic beam-suspension design. It completely lacks a traditional seat tube and seat stays, using a flexible carbon beam to hold the saddle. This dropped weight, smoothed out road vibrations, and kept riders comfortable over long distances".
This bike is equipped with a complete Shimano RX100 2x8 group with Shimano 105 rear derailleur and GripShift shifters located on the ends of the Profile" bars.
As you can see, this bike has extremely low miles and has obviously spent its life as a garage Queen. No ware on the components to speak of, no ware on the braking surfaces of the rims.
650c Wheels with Mavic CPX 12 rims wrapped with Continental Duraskin (same as gator skin) tires in excellent condition.
There are a couple of scrapes on the fork that went through the paint, but the rest of the bike is pretty much nothing but clean, shiny, performance waiting to happen.
Sizing the bike for you is very easy as the seat is almost infinitely adjustable forward and aft on the beam, as well as the bean being adjustable up and down.
The bike has just been professionally tuned with new cables and chain. The wheels have been meticulously cleaned with the hubs being overhauled completely.

The frames alone sell sometimes for $300, and the carbon fiber beam sells sometimes for close to $200 *on eBay.
