The position is with a local mechanical contractor who performs HVAC, piping and plumbing installations and service in the commercial and residential marketplace. The basic function of the Purchasing/Logistics Manager is to properly manage the procurement process, develop new procurement strategies as necessary, maintain vendor relationships, investigate, and negotiate new vendor partnerships and efficiently negotiate the cost and delivery of the materials necessary for the successful completion of the company’s orders. Also responsible for coordinating logistics & delivery for multiple service technicians and jobsites. Job description available upon request.
