Beautiful Maytag 72 Engine on oak carrying rack in running condition. At least 10 years ago, I completely stripped this engine down, cleaned and sand blasted all parts repainted and reassembled. Cylinders were honed and ports were cleaned, and new rings installed. This engine is the smoothest running small engine I have ever run. Power stroke is completely zeroed out as both cylinders fire at the same time. I believe this engine to be late 1940's vintage. This model took care of all the vibration problems with the older one cylinder engines. This is a classic for any small engine collector. I am 76 years old and am working on downsizing my shop of all the accumulated stuff I have. It is your chance to own a classic until you are 76 years old. Make inquiries using Craiglist email relay.
