We are seeking a high-energy, fast-moving Barback to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our main bars during peak nightclub hours. Your primary mission is to keep our bartenders fully stocked, clean, and operating at maximum speed so they can focus on guest service.
Schedule & Availability Primary Schedule: Part-time, primarily weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday and Sundays nights, including late nights.
Holiday Availability: Holiday weekends and special event nights are required.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Base Rate $15 Hourly Rate + nightly tip out.
Key Responsibilities Rapid Restocking: Continuously replenish ice, liquors, mixers, beers, garnishes, and glassware under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions.
Keg & Co2 Maintenance: Quickly change out heavy beer kegs and monitor Co2 levels during busy service windows to prevent tap downtime.
Crowd & Workspace Cleaning: Keep the bar area free of empty bottles, trash, and spills. Clear and bus glassware from guest counters efficiently despite tight crowds.
Bar Prep & Batching: Prep large quantities of garnishes, juices, and specialty batched mixers prior to doors opening.
Teamwork & Safety: Anticipate the needs of multiple busy bartenders simultaneously. Report any security or safety issues to management or the bouncer team immediately.
Qualifications and Skills Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move quickly for long overnight shifts. Must be able to safely lift and carry heavy cases and kegs up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Sensory Awareness: Comfort working in a loud environment with dim lighting, strobe lights, and large crowds.
Urgency & Focus: Strong work ethic with a natural sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks on the fly.
Age & Legal: Must meet local legal age requirements to handle alcohol and work in a nightclub environment.
