This is for several apartment buildings in the Cincinnati area. Task examples:
• Faucet and drain leaks, unclogging of drains, toilet valves.
• Basic electrical (swap out bad outlets, switch or light fixtures).
• Door locks, handles, hinges.
• Wall repair/painting.
• Trash and litter management.
Skill set needed:
• About 3 years experience with typical apartment maintenance and repair tasks. Use of basic hand tools, small power tools.
• Occasionally lift heavy items. Comfortable climbing an occasional ladder up a few feet, to perhaps about 20 feet.
• Occasionally move a fridge or a stove up/down stairs with an appliance dolly, some trash management.
• Ability to troubleshoot a problem, formulate a solution or repair path, retrieve parts, complete repair
• Good customer relations (residents of the apartments)
• Get along with other employees.
• Can simultaneously put in an honest work day, often working mostly alone, while also taking direction and accepting work feedback.
• Excellent communication. Ability to use phone for calls, texting, taking phone camera pics, use of app for job tracking, etc.
• Ability to reliably track work on a time sheet for both company billing, and for payroll purposes.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• A personal toolbox of basic hand tools.
• Clean background, drug free, minimal personal drama, minimal disruption during work days.
