For sale is a1998 SL500 Mercedes convertible/hardtop with a 5 liter V8 producing 320 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. This is a smooth, elegant luxury convertible with timeless styling, and the kind of refined driving feel that still makes the SL500 special. This car has not been wrecked and comes with impressive service records showing a strong history of care and maintenance. The second owner (my seller) kept a detailed log with receipts for the 13 years he owned it. Every required maintenance item was performed with oil changes every 3500 miles or less. Comfortable, classy, and powered by a proven V8, this SL is a great choice for anyone looking for a luxury convertible with character, reliability, and year-round style. A few add-ons by me include new black wheels and new 17" tires, a more modern grill, and a black hardtop. The soft top was replaced ($2300(manual operation only) with the appropriate material.
