We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Store Associate/Cashier for a convenience store located in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago.
Responsibilities:
* Ring up customers and handle cash/card transactions
* Provide friendly and professional customer service
* Stock shelves and displays
* Receive and organize merchandise
* Keep the store, counters, and floors clean
* Check expiration dates and rotate products
* Help maintain an organized and fully stocked store
* Complete general cleaning and other store duties as needed
Requirements:
* Must be dependable and show up on time
* Must be comfortable working with customers
* Must be able to stand for extended periods
* Must be able to lift and stock cases of drinks and other merchandise
* Must be willing to clean and stay productive during slower periods
* Convenience store or cashier experience is preferred, but we can train the right person
