THIS! Is a 2021 Rooms to Go Couch. Today I’ll go over all the Quirks and Features of this couch, then we’ll take you on a sit on this couch, and then we’ll give it a Couchscore. Before I get started, BIG NEWS this couch is for sale and it’s being auctioned LIVE on Craigslist!
Behold: a couch! This well-loved (not in a JD Vance way) couch has served us well. Many a nap was had on this couch, all of Shrinking was watched here, and sometimes, we sit on it.
This couch is extremely comfortable and has lots of life left in it. We are getting rid of it because our cats asked us nicely for a new one. In terms of quirks and features, our beloved cat has decided to use the arms as a scratching post (even when we specifically asked him nicely not to), there is a stain on the outside of the passenger side, there is some pilling, and there are some minor (and small) ink stains on two of the cushions (but you can flip them upside down and the other side is fine), but otherwise the couch is really comfortable and has a lot of life left in it, especially for the price. We have two cats, but we have a smoke and dog free home, and in general, we do not live in squalor.
Alright, time to take a seat on this couch and right off the bat, it’s really comfortable, and all the cushions come off to build a pillow fort, which is not seen on a lot of couches these days. In terms of handling, not much to report on, but in terms of comfort, it’s really comfortable, it’s like sitting on a couch and it really soaks up the bumps in the road. In terms of acceleration, it’s not the fastest couch I’ve ever tried, but also not the slowest.
Alright so that was couch! Very supple ride and very comfortable and you can bid on it and buy it only on Craigslist. Now for the couch score, it gets a 69, with a solid 10 on value.
You must bring help and transportation to move it by yourself, and it will probably not fit on the L (although I guess you’re welcome to try). I do not offer delivery. Pickup available at our apartment (with elevator) by the Morse red line CTA station.
