I have been using this simple, practical pegboard system for my artwork. A single pegboard at Home Depot costs $24. Fancier ones are $150 on Uline. They alone are quite useful, and can be repurposed to accommodate a work bench. This is what you get:
1 center piece peg board 36 x 48 inches
2 side piece peg boards 30 x 48
2 connecting rods
4 feet
8 bolts, including 16 washers and 8 wing nuts (I did not lose anything in 10 years!)
Assorted hangers and hooks for the pegboard, whether you want to make a shelf or hang something by a wire
