The Quad II Eighty monoblock amplifiers are modern valve power amplifiers that draw inspiration from the legendary Quad II while delivering substantially greater power and contemporary reliability. Designed and manufactured by Quad, these amplifiers combine classic valve topology with modern components and construction techniques.
Using KT88 output valves in a carefully implemented push-pull design, the Quad II Eighty offers strong dynamic capability alongside the natural midrange and smooth treble for which valve amplification is well known. The presentation is open, controlled and expressive, with excellent authority and scale, making these amplifiers suitable for a wide range of loudspeakers.
