My name is Susan, and I am a qualified, and very experienced instructor, with over 30 years of teaching experience, both in a private setting, and at the university level. I have taught students of all ages and levels of study. My education includes a BA (Mus), andMMus (Piano Performance).
If you are wanting to learn to play the piano, or improve your keyboarding skills, I would love to help you, or your child, achieve those goals.
In the past couple of years I have started teaching virtually, and you may wonder if learning to play piano in this format is effective. The answer is YES! My students have had great results with remote lessons!. I have found that in terms of musical growth, we can accomplish the same things online as we could in person. There are also the practical benefits to learning remotely such as the convenience of signing into lessons from home, the time and expense saved from not having to travel to and from lessons, etc.
GROUP lessons for children: Learning in a group format is a new, unique, and affordable way to learn to play piano. Groups are kept quite small so they can still be interactive. Children will be placed in a group with others of similar ages.
Rates are HIGHLY DISCOUNTED in comparison to individual lessons.
The lessons I offer are generally held once a week for a 1/2 hr, but 45 min and 1 hr long lessons are available upon request.
