Do you smoke cigarettes daily and want to try quitting? Are you willing to help test a new quitting tool?
Join the ASHES study at Northwestern University and help us test a new wearable tool designed to help people succeed in quitting smoking!
Quick Summary:
If you decide to enroll, you will receive a sensor necklace, smartwatch, and mobile app from the study team. You will wear the devices for 1 week while smoking normally. Then, you will make quit attempt, guided by the study quit coach, and see how long you can go without smoking while using the study devices. If you return to smoking, that’s ok! You can try again, and how long you are able to quit will not affect your study participation or compensation. After your quit date, you will be asked to wear the necklace and smartwatch and use the mobile app for up to 4 weeks.
