Content Planning & Scheduling: Maintain and execute the monthly social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Trend & Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on social media trends, viral audio, and evolving platform guidelines—specifically surrounding cannabis marketing compliance and community standards.
Performance Tracking: Assist in gathering weekly and monthly engagement analytics to measure content performance and help refine ongoing strategy.
Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on product launch campaigns, event promotions, and influencer/dispensary partner outreach.
Qualifications & Requirements
Age Requirement: Must be 21+ years of age (per cannabis industry regulations).
Education/Experience: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on portfolio experience).
Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, and emerging social platforms.
Content Skills: Basic proficiency in photo/video editing apps (including Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or others etc.).
Industry Knowledge: Basic familiarity with cannabis products is strongly preferred.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail, grammar, and brand voice.
Compliance Mindset: Understanding of strict cannabis advertising regulations on social platforms (meta-shadowbanning, restricted keywords, age-gating).
