This position’s primary role is to operate a sit-down propane forklift for the purposes of loading/unloading various types of palletized freight.
Schedule:
Thursday - Sunday 12:00 PM- 10:30 PM
● Coordinate With Warehouse Supervisor and Dispatch To Identify Challenges For the Following Days
Dispatch Schedule, Including Yard Space, Trailer Count, Inbound Trailer ETA’s Missing Paperwork
Etc.
● Load and unload efficiently EASTBOUND/WESTBOUND/LOCAL freight movement, per instructions
from the Shift Supervisor and makes sure the team are following the same procedures and
guidelines and minimizing all possible damages.
● Responsible for the team fixing all damaged freight and notify Claims on all damages.
● Responsible for the team securing all freight after loading and making sure all forklift operators
secure all shipments at all times.
● Operates all loading/unloading equipment in a safe manner and makes sure all forklift operators
are operating all equipment safely and wearing PPE at all times.
● Cleans Warehouse dock and Terminal property and makes sure the team is cleaning all trailers
before loading.
● Responsible for the Cleanliness of the Terminal.
● Responsible for the team completing the forklift inspections consistently according to OSHA
requirements and reporting any defects to the Warehouse Supervisor.
● Responsible for daily pre-shift meetings and daily stretching sessions.
● Responsible for all printed dispatches and BOLs for all deliveries and making sure the crew loads
everything according to the Dispatch instructions.
● Responsible for Assigning Correct Equipment According To Customer and Dispatch Instructions.
● Maintains supply inventory by conducting a monthly checklist.
● Report daily any equipment needed/available discrepancies (Yard Empties Check) seeking solutions
with the Supervisor before Dispatcher’s end of shift.
● Responsible for Cross Reference of Yard Check and Dock Inventory at the end of the shift To
Compensation package:

Requirements:
- Forklift & Warehouse experience (Forklift certification - a plus but not required)
