Who I'm Looking For:
Independent Makers Only: Looking for individuals, freelancers, or local side-hustlers rather than commercial studios or manufacturing businesses to keep costs low.
Experience Level: Someone with alterations, custom tailoring, or small-batch apparel sewing background is more than qualified. Clean stitching and attention to construction detail are key.
Proximity: Based in the Logan Square / Humboldt Park area of Chicago, but happy to work with anyone accessible via CTA or willing to coordinate drop-offs across the city.
Project Scope:
Pre-made pattern and design ready to hand off.
Looking for competitive/independent rates (price is a primary priority for this phase).
