This is a ridiculously flamed neck with nice tall frets and in high gloss lacquer. There's a few spots that show wear which include the underside of the neck, the 8th fret (needs a wet buff, looks like someone tried to use steel wool) and the tip of the headstock. It is very usable as it is, I just had it on a Warmoth strat body.
