Property Management Company is looking for an experienced, reliable, and responsible Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team.
We manage residential properties in the Chicago area and are looking for someone who can independently handle **work orders, repairs, maintenance tasks, and property improvement projects**.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of handyman / property maintenance experience
* Experience working on residential properties and completing work orders
* Strong knowledge of general home repairs and maintenance
* Must have your own reliable transportation
* Must have your own professional tools
* Able to diagnose problems and determine the appropriate repair
* Must be punctual, dependable, and responsible
* Good communication skills
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Must be organized and able to complete jobs in a timely manner
* Ability to communicate with tenants, property managers, vendors, and coworkers professionally
* Must be comfortable handling multiple work orders and projects during the workday
Typical Work Includes
* Drywall repair and patching
* Painting and touch-ups
* Plumbing repairs
* Basic electrical repairs
* Door and lock repairs
* Cabinet and hardware repairs
* Flooring repairs
* Caulking and sealing
* General carpentry
* Turnover/move-out repairs
* General handyman work
* Other maintenance and improvement projects as needed
