Do you have a household that is perfectly functional except for approximately 47 things you never have time to deal with?
I'm offering competent, flexible household assistance for women who need an extra set of capable hands, an organized mind, and someone who can take a project from ‘I've been meaning to do that’s to it's done.
I’m an experienced, reliable adult who is good at walking into a situation, figuring out what needs to happen, and getting it done.
I’m not looking to be your full-time housekeeper, dishwasher, or laundress.
Things I can assist with:
* Organizing closets, rooms, kitchens, garages, and household spaces
* Preparing your home for guests or an event
* Being present for repair and maintenance appointments
* Packing, unpacking, and moving preparation (no moving service or truck)
* Pet sitting, house sitting, and plant care
* Household organization when you’re overwhelmed, returning from the hospital, or coming home after time away
* Light tidying as part of an organizing project
* Coordinating errands and household logistics
* Editing and reviewing Word documents, articles, forms, and files
* Tackling those weird little projects you’ve been putting off for six months
I also have a background in theater, hospitality, and event work. If your project involves making people, spaces, or events look good and run smoothly, even better.
What I’m really selling is competence.
I’m observant, detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable figuring out what needs to happen without needing every little thing spelled out for me.
Available for one-time projects or ongoing part-time assistance on Chicago’s North Side. References available.
Rate: $25–$30/hour, depending on the project.
