Our first 12 art/sound studios all rented out immediately; we are completing another five affordable art/sound studios with windows in the next 30 days. Sign up now, first come first served!
All five new studios will be sound insulated with Rockwool and roughly 11 feet by 23 feet with high ceilings, concrete floors and large south-facing windows. Prices will start at $775 all-in per month (security deposit is required).
Other artists are also welcome to apply for these spaces.
The Studio62 Arts Center is currently a mix of experienced and talented artists, sound engineers, podcasters and others in the music, film, art and social media worlds. Most have established high level customer bases. A Studio62 Arts Center tenant recently hosted the finals of ANR Records' mike drop nationwide hip hop contest. One of our artists is on a university faculty and had a recent major gallery opening
Studio62 offers 24/7 access, free parking, free WiFi. Feel free to customize the space! You can also hire our Studio 62 artists to put artwork or murals on your walls if you want. Look at some of their artwork around the building in the attached pictures!
Studio62 Arts Center is now the largest sound studio project in the South Side of Chicago. But this is only one part of the Studio62 warehouse. We now have 53 private locked studio spaces for many different types of entrepreneurs. Many of these are smaller general administrative suites located inn our West Building Suites, and these start at only $315 per month all-in.
Our tenants, about half of which come from home businesses, and most are from the South Side, report between 30-100% increases in business in the first year when they locate to our professional suites with unlimited office hours and free parking.

Studio62 is just STEPS from 90/94, the 63rd street red line el and numerous bus routes. Down the street from the Obama Center, close by Hyde Park and only 12 minutes from the Loop!
