HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT — I’M SELLING COMPETENCE

Do you have a household that is perfectly functional except for approximately 47 things you never have time to deal with?
That’s where I come in.
I’m an experienced, reliable adult who is good at walking into a situation, figuring out what needs to happen, and handling it.
I’m not looking to be your full-time housekeeper. I’m offering competent, flexible household help for people who need an extra set of capable hands.
I can help with things like:
• Organizing closets, rooms, kitchens, garages, etc.
• Preparing your home for guests or an event
• Errands, returns, pickups and deliveries
• Being there for repair/maintenance appointments
• Packing, unpacking and moving preparation
• Pet sitting / house sitting
• Plant care
• Household inventory and general organization
• Event setup and cleanup
• Light tidying and household tasks
• Helping an older adult with everyday household logistics
• Tackling those weird little projects you’ve been putting off for six months
I also have a background in hair, styling, theater, hospitality and event work, so if your particular project involves making people, spaces or events look good, even better.
What I’m really selling is competence.
You tell me what needs to happen. I figure out how to make it happen.
Available for one-time projects or ongoing part-time help on the North Side. References available.
$25–30/hour depending on the job.
