Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dependable drivers to join our team for day shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of vehicles, including commercial small cargo vans to transport employees, supplies, & equipment efficiently to and from job sites. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and maintaining the highest safety standards. Days - Monday - Friday - 7:30 am - 1:30 pm ---- weekends (as needed on call )
Pay 13.85 pr hr.
Responsibilities
Safely operate company vans daily
Transport employees or supplies efficiently to different job site while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations through out the Hampton roads area. May need to assist with cleaning at times of employee shortage
Assist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment. must be able to lift at least 25 LBS
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety. wash vans as needed to ensure clean and orderly at all times.
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or passengers to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly
Experience- NO CDL DRIVERS, this is not a over the road position.
Previous experience as a delivery driver a plus
Familiarity with vans enhances your suitability for this role
Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members effectively
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to identify potential issues early a plus
Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated;
