Retired, tidy, and handy guy seeking a real "home room"; prefer Buffalo & Summerlin Pkwy, but…
I'm a healthy, active retiree looking for a room where I can actually put down roots, not just park my toothbrush.
My credentials: perfect rent history, solid references, clean background check, and steady income. My budget is on the tighter side; but I'm flexible for the right situation.
My days: mornings I’m quiet: journaling, meditation, reading, coffee. Then the day kicks into gear with classes at OLLI/UNLV; swimming, Pilates, or yoga at EoS/LVAC; and maybe hiking at Red Rock where I just might regress into childlike happiness scrambling on up. I also volunteer with stage theatre and a land conservancy.
Around the house: I'm not a carpenter or plumber, but I’m otherwise handy. I am tidy. And I am amenable. I cook light; and I always clean up after myself - your kitchen won't be left a surprise for you. I'm happy to be social or low-key -
whatever fits the household.
Timing and location: I’m not in a rush; but I need give 30 days' notice to my current residence. I'd prefer to stay near the WinCo/Trader Joe's area (Buffalo/Summerlin Pkwy); but if your place or location has a compelling case - I'm listening.
So now tell me please about you, your household, what you're looking for, and your boundaries and persnicketies.
One honest note, so nobody spins their wheels: I'm looking for a positive, progressive, clean household. If your place is more a mess or a storage center, you talk smack of people and politics, or your TV is a constant - we'll both be happier finding better fits.
