I have a handful of liquidamber trees I've grown from seed.
Different sizes! The trees I have for sale vary between 10-60 inches tall (from the soil).
The photos show the smallest.
They are grown in my garden, so they are very familiar with our local climate. These trees like the sun. A gorgeous tree, especially come Fall when you get to view a multitude of autumn colors (orange, red, purple) on the tree leaves! Yes, this tree is deciduous so leaves will drop later in the year (Nov/Dec/Jan). Foliage returns by March. This plant can be grown in loamy, moist soil. It can eventually reach 30-50 feet tall. The trunk can get 2-3 feet in diameter. These trees can live for 400 years. I am asking approximately $15-$85 (cash only).
You can plant them directly in your landscape, plant them in a container (watch them grow and then transplant into the landscape), or train them to become bonsai (see sample photos for ideas).
I have included a picture or two for a couple of the actual trees for sale (in black potted container and blue ceramic pots). Along with some sample photos of more mature trees, leaves and foliage.
